This summer is special for the two of us. We’re building Lunatask 3 – not a typical update you’re used to, but a new app you actually deserve in 2026.
We’re rewriting both Lunatask apps to unlock features we otherwise couldn’t bring you anytime soon, while fixing long-standing issues and historical reasons that have been slowing us down in the past.
We’re always here if you need help with your subscription, billing, setting up Lunatask in a way that works better for you and your workflow, or any issue you may have – please skip the rest of this message and don’t hesitate to reach out! 🙏
But for this summer – a rare, special, and temporary period for us – we’d also kindly ask for your help as well 🙏
If you have an idea for a feature or improvement, please submit it through our Idea Portal. If your question is about anything “future” or you have feedback to share, please wait until Lunatask 3 is released 🙏
If your question is about Lunatask 3 itself, please wait for updates from our side. We’ll be sharing more through our many usual channels when we can and as we go, we promise.

We’ve spent many months putting measures in place to make this initiative even possible, and this is one last remaining piece.
Very unlike me, but put most bluntly: I can either be building or replying – not both at the same time. When someone asks when a certain missing feature is coming, they often don’t realize I’m writing a reply to their question instead of building the feature, and the question itself only delays the thing they care so much about 😔
Taken all together, those are often exactly why those features or fixes aren’t here yet. When I become a full-time support person, can no longer keep up with just that and necessary fixes, everything else naturally stops moving forward.
We’ve been there, then spent months freeing me up again, and now we’re fixing and trying to bring you everything with this rewrite 🚀
That said, going from a state where I can’t get to a single missing feature to suddenly being able to rewrite and bring you everything, you sense the logical paradox there. It didn’t happen overnight, and that’s why the last remaining step is this kind request for your help.
Trust me, I wouldn’t be asking if it wasn’t truly necessary. Things will return to normal once Lunatask 3 is here. With our focus and attention where it’s needed, we’ll get there as quickly as we can. I appreciate your help and understanding! 🙏
